Knights of the Northern Realm hosts authentic medieval feasts at Ritchie Community Centre at 7727 - 98 Street in Edmonton.  These feature a five course historic menu, live entertainment, medieval dancing and a bar with ale, cider, cordials, mead and wine.   Feasts often include medieval games like Hunker Down, the pillaries (stocks) and interaction with the feasters.  Game and door prizes are donated by Supply Sergeant.

Our March Masque has the theme of a medieval masquerade feast featuring bellydancers from Nomadic Tapestry, medieval dancing with Lady Jeannette, interactive medieval games, and live entertainment.

Feast tickets are sold in advance only and are available at retails stores in Edmonton including Supply Sergeant, The Theatre Garage and Sanctuary Curio Shoppe.  Tickets include a 3 month associate membership.

Sample Feast Menu

1st course - bread, butter, radishes, pickled onions, fresh fruit, mushroom pasties & green pancakes

 

2nd course - herb and flower salad with a oil and vinegar dressing

 

3rd course - squash in broth, bread

 

4th course - vermicelli, chicken with oranges and lemons, pork loin with a coriander caraway sauce, green peas, fried beans & bulgur pilaf

 

5th course - gingerbread, rice pudding, custard tart & fresh fruit
