Our co-ed club is located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and was founded in 2001 as Knights of the Wild Rose - Edmonton Chapter.  Knights of the Northern Realm is a co-ed group focused on knightly arts in the mid to late 14th century in England during the time of good King Edward III.

We study authentic combat, period armour, historical clothing, and medieval history; host a 14th century Tournament, Family Field and Medieval Market each July; host the annual March Masque medieval feast; and hold two Beginner Classes in September and February.

Members volunteer for charity events around Edmonton as well as deliver paid performances for school visits, weddings, birthday parties, private events, festivals, and cultural gatherings.

We are proud members of the Edmonton Arts Council and the Strathcona Community League.

The
1st annual Medieval May was Sunday, May 29 from 12:00 - 5:00 pm at Ritchie Hall, 7727 - 98 Street.

Our 10th annual Tournament, Medieval Market and Family Field takes place Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Dr. Wilbur McIntyre Park at 104 Street and 83 Avenue from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.  The opening ceremonies are at 11:00 am.  Don’t miss it!
